Fairhope, Alabama 55th Arts and Crafts Festival this weekend!

Come to view the Annual Arts and Crafts and Outdoor Art Show for St. Patrick's weekend!

Come on down to spend your St. Patrick’s weekend at the Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival. This weekend Fairhope expects to welcome over 200,000 persons to visit downtown Fairhope taking in the quaint shops and the  art displays, cafe’s and restaurants. This annual event signifies the beginning of spring. Parking will be difficult to find downtown during this event so a shuttle service provided by Baldwin Rural Area Transportation System will run shuttles from Plantation Point and Eastern Shore Village shopping center and Ecor Rouge Place. Rides will be $1.00 each way. Almost 400 artist from 25 states will be displaying their works.

Other events associated with the Festival are:

The Model Train Show held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Sunday at 100 South Church Street. The admission is free for children, Military and Fire Department Personel and $2.00 for adults.

The collection of MG’s shown by the British Antique Car Club will be displayed Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Faulkner State University.

Pets will be available for adoption with the Baldwin County Humane Society Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on the Compass Bank parking lot Saturday.

So the place to be this weekend is in Fairhope for the 55th annual Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday thru Sunday presented by the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. The Eastern Shore Art Center also presents their 35th annual Outdoor Art Show at the same time.
