With $6,000,000 towards their $10,000,000 goal already raised, Mobile AL will see a unique historical museum in 2009

Mobile Alabama will be the new home of the National Maritime
Museum of the Gulf of Mexico provided they meet their campaign goal to raise
$10,000,000 towards the construction. With
hopes of a unique building design shaped like a ship, the National Maritime museum
is well on its way to reaching their goal with $6,000,000 already raised. Those that are familiar with Mobile Alabama’s
history as well as those that want to learn more, will find this ideally
located museum a wealth of historical information. 

The National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico will
feature interactive exhibits to engage visitors in learn history in new and exciting
ways.  The museum is slated to open in
2009.
