Mobile’s Chamber of Commerce are searching for ‘free’ office space to accommodate ThyssenKrup AG during their steel mill’s construction

Since the German Steel company ThyssenKrupp AG has made
plans to build their new Steel Mill in Mobile Alabama they will need an office
space available for the few years it may take for the construction on the mill
to be completed. The Chamber of Commerce
in Mobile AL has recently indicated that they are currently and intently
looking for an appropriately sized office space for this purpose. However, the catch is that Mobile’s Chamber
of Commerce is primarily interested in something that will be offered free for
this use. Accordingly a recent article
in the Press-Register noted that ThyssenKrupp AG executives and construction
managers are already pursuing their hunt for an office building in Mobile, but
understand that finding something for ‘free’ may be difficult.

Local real estate businesses have been asked to help find
something suitable for the German steel company soon.
