Alabama offers a great time for hunting and fishing. The Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries
Division of Alabama manage the freshwater fishing; with 47 reservoirs, 23 State
Public Fishing Lakes, and various rivers and streams to fish from, Alabama is a
fisher’s dream. If you enjoy saltwater
fishing, the Marine Resources Division manages Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Consult outdooralabama.com
to find out how you can purchase a fishing license for saltwater and/or freshwater
fishing online or via telephone. You may
also purchase ‘lifetime’ licenses for an upfront fee depending on your current
age.

For
those that enjoy hunting, deer, turkey, alligator, and other indigenous game are
allowed during their respective seasons. 
An “all game” license for Alabama residents’ is $24.00 or $275.00 for a
