Fairhope Alabama’s Fly Creek Project Moves Forward

The first step of development is leasing the grocery store space to a commercial business

The Fairhope Council approved the Fly Creek project’s site plan review
recently as described in the Baldwin Report. The development is to be located on the southeast corner of U.S. 98 and
Parker Road in Fairhope Alabama, which is noted as being an ‘unofficial’
northern entrance to the city. Currently,
property owner Arthur Corte is seeking only to develop the commercial area that
faces Greeno Road; the project is thus centering on obtaining a commercial
tenant for the 54,000 sq. ft. grocery store. Publix is rumored to be the tenant, but there has been no announcement
for certain of the leaseholder.
