Tanker Contract Expected to Benefit the Gulf Shores
Northrop Grumman's winning of the $40 billion US airforce contract will positively impact the Gulf Shores as a whole
Northrop Grumman’s winning of the highly sought after $40
billion jet tanker contract will not only boost the economy, but will bring
more people to the Mobile area. Though
the Gulf Coast has suffered from their share of what the Press-Register news
has reported as a “condominium-glutted resort market,” the tanker contract will
attract more buyers for condos and homes in the Gulf as a whole, not just in
Mobile itself. Anthony Kaiser, owner of
Realty Executives in Gulf Shores, reported to the Press-Register that the ‘main
thing’ this contract has done for the Gulf market is ‘restore consumer
confidence,’ giving hope to what may have been perceived in the past as a risky
endeavor.
Currently, the real estate market is picking up in the Gulf Shores
with house showings and condo sales. If you
are thinking of becoming a property owner in the Gulf Shores contact local
agent Barbara Reeves by email or via the “Talk Now” feature below for more
information.
