Fairhope Alabama’s City Council is in the process of creating a strategic plan that will assist the city in making decisions about how to distribute taxpayer resources; they have appointed a Strategic Planning Process Committee to address the issue in more detail. A final Strategic plan would offer Fairhope Alabama direction to their future goals. This plan will address such long-term goals as economic and workforce development, entertainment and the arts, housing and governmental services, transportation and infrastructure, land and property use, and educational services for adults and children.

The Strategic Planning Process Committee will meet again on May 27th to discuss what the process of coming up with a strategic plan will entail and how much the costs would be; they intend to meet bimonthly until they complete their current task.
