Daphne Home Prices Holding Strong

June 2008 statistics for Daphne show 473 homes on the market with an average sales price of $318,693 (down 4%) and an unchanged median price of $255,500 (down 2%). The median is the point where there are the same number of prices lower than higher. These homes have been on the market an average of 128, 13 days shorter than in May.

In June, 28 homes sold in Daphne with an average sales price of $232,052 (down 4%) and a median sales price of $212,475 ( up 13%!). Sold homes averaged 100 days on the market..

The number of homes that are under contract in Daphne is 52 with an average sales price of $318,129, a whopping 17% increase over May! The median price point of $229,900 is unchanged. Homes under contract were on the market for an increased average of 142 days.
