Spanish Fort AL’s Town Center Attracts more Businesses

Spanish Fort Alabama city officials are looking at an issue involving the use of a second sign at the Spanish Fort Town Center. The Center, which houses a number of businesses, already had a sign but city ordinances prohibit anything more than one multi-tenant sign along I-10; this sign has been constructed to be 50-feet, but developers want another sign located 900 feet east of this one. It was proposed that this new sign would keep the appearance of the other one for consistency and would advertise more businesses in the center. Doing this would also encourage more businesses to move into the area, including a few unannounced large companies that want to know they will have proper advertisement from the road before signing the lease.

Other companies that are planning to move into the Spanish Fort Town Center include JC Penney, Kohl’s, and Circuit City.
