August Data For Mobile AL Real Estate

In August, 30 homes have sold in the Downtown/ Midtown area of Mobile with an average sales price of $137,877, up 5.5%. The median sales price was $126,000. These homes were on the market an average of 79 days.

18 homes have sold in the Municipal Park area of Mobile with an average sales price of $96,139 (down 8%) and a median sales price of $93,250 (down 20%). These homes were on the market for an average of 66 days prior to being sold, 17 days quicker than in July.

9 homes have sold during August in the Springhill/USA area of Mobile with an average sales price of $189,292, down significantly by 28%. The median sales price of $178,000 is down 3% and the homes are averaging 84 days on the market.

The Cottage Hill area of Mobile saw 42 homes sold during August with an average sales price of $184,281, down almost 16%. The median sales price of $143,296 down 12%. These homes were on the market an average of 75 days.

In August, 42 homes sold in the West Mobile area with an average sales price up 4% to $191,888 and a median sales price of $155,000, down 8%. These homes sold after an average of only 77 days.

28 homes have sold in the W. Mobile County area during August with an average sales price of $209,803 (down 1.5%) and a median sales price of $201,975 (up 8%). These prices are overall very strong and the days on the market averaged only 57 days. Incredibly, this is 34 days quicker than homes sold in July.
