Fairhope in Top Two Small Southern Towns
This charming community on the Eastern Shore earned honors as the second-best small town in the South. This is according to a recent survey of 47,000 readers of Southern Living Magazine which caters to all things Southern. Although Fairhope lost out on the number one spot to Beaufort, SC, the readers had several other favorite spots in our immediate area.
Gulf Shores and Orange Beach were named the third-best beach adestinaion and fourth-best family destination
The second-best public garden was Mobile’s own Bellingrath Gardens and Home. Also in the Fairhope area, the Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club, & Spa in Point Clear was named the fourth-best hotel in the South. There is something for everyone in this gorgeous community.
